Cars have weird shapes. Very weird shapes. Modelling them can be difficult, but very rewarding. "If you can model a car, you can model anything," people say. Well, let's give it a try. For the rest of the year, whenever I have time to spare, I can try working on a car.

However, firstly, a test: can I create a vector graphic for a car? For a test of Adobe Illustrator, I gathered an outline from a blueprint of a 2018 Jaguar F-Pace SVR. While I admit this test isn't necessarily perfect, it's a great starting point. I might've included too much detail, though - that'll be a pretty big problem with mine that I'll need to address.

Next, I took photos of my model - a cheap Urban Blazerz from my local Poundland. It has the main body of a car, but with the tires of a monster truck, making for a unique build. However, the larger tires can mean that I am unable to see part of the car. Luckily enough, the tires can be moved via on-board axis articulation. Nonetheless, be careful about which car you choose.
